How to Detect Food Intolerance Food intolerance, also known as food sensitivity, can vary in terms of the reaction process from person to person. The body can react to the food immediately after consumption, after one hour, the next day, or even two days later. As there is no precise time frame, individuals may unknowingly continue to consume foods they are sensitive to, putting their health at risk.
