Male Check-Up Over 40

Every man over the age of 40 should have a general health check-up. After the age of 40, it is time for men to take care of themselves and their health. Early diagnosis is very important for some diseases, especially cancer. Therefore, early diagnosis of such diseases through screening also increases the success of treatment.

A medical check-up involves identifying your age, gender, and potential health risks associated with smoking, as well as assessing any familial or genetic predisposition to diabetes, coronary artery disease, stroke, or cancer. For individuals with a family history of coronary artery disease, additional tests such as HDL cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, an exercise test, and an echocardiogram should be considered during their check-up. Women who have a family history of cancer should undergo an annual PAP smear, breast ultrasound, mammogram, pulmonary function tests, and lung CT scan. Men with a family history of cancer should undergo prostate-specific antigen, respiratory function tests, and lung CT scans once a year.

At eLAB Laboratories, unlike standard check-up programs, you can have more detailed examinations with a program determined according to the risks you carry, and you can take the necessary measures for your health without wasting time. After the check-up program, all records related to your health are kept and you can be in contact with your family physician at any time to monitor your health status.
